I am identifying and characterizing T-cell epitopes found in dengue virus and Zika virus. I plan to incorporate promising candidates into heterotypic nanoparticle vaccine designs to elicit a cross-protective immune response.
I have previously worked on several projects as a research assistant. At Lehman College, I was involved in peptide engineering and synthesis for biomedical and environmental applications. At SUNY Upstate Medical College, I sharacterized T-Cells with modulated T-Cell receptor pathways. At Kinnos Inc., I was an intern in the Research & Development department, where I analyzed Organic Compounds
In the future, I am interested in obtaining a PhD in the Biomedical Sciences with the hope of working in industry. My hobbies include traveling and aviation
