Keywords: rational immunogen design, translational immunotherapy, oncology
I am generating and evaluating the therapeutic potential of antibodies and vaccines designed to target soluble Aβ oligomers and non-fibrillar species that are believed to drive synaptic and neuronal dysfunction in Alzheimer's disease. Separately, I will contribute to work to engineer, evaluate, and optimize bispecific immunotherapies targeting chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL).
For my master's thesis, I completed single cell RNA immune profiling of neutrophils in the context of autoimmune disease and complement receptor C5aR2 signaling, before returning to the US, where I engineered and assessed CAR-T therapeutics and mRNA-encoded bispecific T cell engagers (biTEs) targeting multiple myeloma at Dana Farber.
In the future, I would like to focus my studies on translational therapeutics and immunotherapeutic engineering. Outside of the lab I enjoy volleyball, embroidery, and am very interested in public policy, particularly as it pertains to global infectious disease.
